MAIN SPONSOR OF 81st IZMIR INTERNATIONAL EXPO TANSAS

TANSAS became the Main Sponsor of 81st Izmir International Expo that will be organized on August 31st- September 9th, 2012. Sponsorship agreement was signed by Aziz Kocaoglu, the Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, and Bulend Ozaydinli, the Chairman of Board, on behalf of Tansas.

The signing ceremony was organized in Kulturpark with the participation of Aziz Kocaoglu, the Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and Chairman of Board of IZFAS, and Bulend Ozaydinli, the Chairman of Board, on behalf of Tansas, and Mehmet Sakir Ors, the Executive Member of Board of Directors and Acting General Manager of IZFAS, and Ozgur Tort, the General Manager of Migros Group, and Sevki Tuncer, the Deputy General Manager, and Zeki Karatay, the Deputy General Manager of IZFAS, and Sule Keskiner, the Deputy General Manager of IZFAS, and IZFAS personnel and voluntary expo ambassadors of Tansas.

Izmir International Expo that is organized in Kulturpark that is located in the geographical, cultural and spiritual heart of Izmir, and that covers 421 thousand square meters hosts artistic and cultural activities addressing to the people at every age and from every circle. Tansas, which emerged from and grew in the Aegean territory, and which fostered its relation with the Aegean people with many innovations realized by it, contributes to the festival ambiance in the expo that is the symbol of Izmir as the main sponsor of 81st Izmir International Expo.

We, Tansas, decided to become the main sponsor for Izmir Expo in order to further enliven the economy and social life of Izmir.” Bulend Ozaydinli said in his speech. It was stated in the meeting that Izmir always backed Tansas, which is its own brand, and Tansas contributed to the social, cultural and commercial life in Izmir.

Every year, Izmir International Expo (IEF) is visited by averagely 1.5 million people. This year, it is aimed at breaking record in the number of visitors with the events to be organized in cooperation with IZFAS both inside and outside the expo area within the framework of Tansas sponsorship. While it is aimed at increasing the number of visitors from the country and abroad this year, Tansas will organize special events, surprising shows and demonstrations that have high visual character and that aim at participation of mass groups in line with the design theme in the expo during August 31st- September 09th.
