We will be preparing 50 percent of Migros Sanal Market orders with TARO until the end of the year.
Developed by Turkish engineers with the guidance of the Migros Sanal Market team, the robot is the latest technologically advanced in the retail industry. Migros broke a new ground in the retail sector. ”
ASİS Automation and Migros’ engineers developed the first robot assistant in its field
Migros, which has undertaken a pioneering work in the name of robotic technologies that has gained great importance in the step of collecting products in high demand e-orders, aims to increase its service capacity with TARO. Migros, which turns the order collecting process into a smart and flawless journey, maximizes productivity with TARO, and provides benefits for both its customers and employees. In line with the needs of Migros, the robotic product collection assistant TARO, developed entirely by Turkish engineers of ASIS Automation, works in collaboration with robots and humans, making the lives of Migros employees easier. TARO collects the products in the baskets of customers who place online orders 5 times faster and without error, both improving the service quality and making the operation processes easier.
Asis Automation CEO Yusuf Kaya said: “The fact that such a technology has been implemented in less than 12 months from the thought phase is thanks to the harmonious work of the two teams and our company's 'robotic and industrial automation expertise' based on many years. Now is the time to carry this technology abroad with Migros and to write new success stories ”.
It draws its own map and completes the order without error
TARO, which is an important step in terms of technology support it brings to the retail sector, draws the most accurate and shortest road map under the guidance of the smart shelves in the store. The system uses artificial intelligence and sensor technologies, where thousands of algorithms work in the background, so that the products in the order can be accessed quickly.
LED lights on the smart shelves light up to show the product, pointing to the correct product at the target. With the QR readers and basket weight sensors on the robot, the product can be verified by Migros employees and the order can be completed without error. The user-friendly robot can collect 3 orders at the same time.
